Del is a member of the GUSTO research team which is building a balloon-borne scientific instrument launched from Antarctica and designed to scan the galaxy for carbon, oxygen, and nitrogen. This will allow astronomers to study these elements that are critical in the life, death, and rebirth of stars.

Jakob is a second-year graduate student at the University of Arizona pursuing a Ph.D. in astronomy, with research focused on understanding the formation and evolution of galaxies and galaxy clusters in the early Universe. He is a member of the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) Advanced Deep Extragalactic Survey (JADES) and the Near-Infrared Camera (NIRCam) Science Teams.

Janet is an ambassador for a nationwide network of more than 1100 volunteers coordinated by the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California. For more than 25 years, the NASA Solar System Ambassadors program has been a public engagement effort that works with volunteers across the nation to communicate the science and excitement of NASA's space exploration missions and discoveries with the people in their communities.
Janet became a volunteer for the Solar System Ambassador Program in 2002 and has been giving programs on astronomy and space science to a wide variety of audiences since that time. She holds a Master of Science Degree in Geoscience Education with an emphasis in planetary science. .

Lilyis a fourth year PhD student at the University of Arizona, where she works with new data from the James Webb Space Telescope to study the Universe, how galaxies formed and evolved within the first few hundred million years after the Big Bang, and how they influence the overall evolution of the Universe.

Dr. Rizk is the Lead Instrument Scientist for the Camera Suite on the OSIRIS-REx and Apophis Explorer Missions. He will share with us the goals of the Apophis Explorer Mission and some of the advanced technology that will be used to study the Apophis Asteroid.

Dr. Sarah Sutton will present, "Europa Clipper Mission: Probing Jupiter's Ocean Moon." Dr. Sutton is a member of the Europa Clipper team that will conduct flybys of Europa and investigate whether habitable environments could exist there. She will share with us details of the October 2024 launch of this probe and instruments that will be used to study Europa, such as mass spectrometers that will analyze the composition of Europa’s exosphere, perhaps detecting organic materials.
